This Memorial Day we will be open with our regularly scheduled classes, and want you all to celebrate with us with a special promo! As a way thanking everyone for supporting House of Movement, on Memorial Day (5/26), when you take classes that night you can bring a friend to take class with you for FREE! This deal applies to our single classes and all our class cards.

This month we are giving thanks to you and the dance community for all the support you've shown House of Movement!  

Our promotions include:

  • 2 Classes for $20 (expires 7 days after first use)

Our Community Class series on Friday nights from 8-9pm is continuing to be a great outlet for talented east coast choreographers to share their passion. This month we are proud to have a line-up that includes:

Also, we are excited to host a pop-up workshop this Friday (11/8) 9-10pm with the talented west coast choreographer Damian "Dmoe" Gomez! Originally from San Francisco and now residing in Los Angeles, Damian "Dmoe" Gomez has an active career as a dancer, choreographer and teacher, appearing in television, film, and alongside the industry's top recording artists. Hey everyone!

We are just two days away from this incredible workshop we have lined up for you guys as well as some special announcements!

First off, thank you to everyone this month who has signed up for our HOM mailing list! Next, we would like to announce that we will be having a special one day only merch sale for our T-Shirts and Tanks to thank you guys for all your support in our grand opening this month! On Saturday at the workshop ALL HOM SHIRTS AND TANKS will be on SALE FOR ONLY $12 each (normally $20)! Come to the workshop and grab your HOM shirt!

New "Community Class" at House of Movement!

New "Community Class" at House of Movement!

 

Hello everyone! 

We would like to officially announce that we will be offering a new class to the weekly schedule at House of Movement. The new "Community Class" aims to bring instructors from all over the dance community to teach at HOM, every Friday at 8PM. These classes will be OPEN LEVEL and we encourage all dancers of any experience level to come take class. The instructors that we will feature in class range from up and coming choreographers to established choreographers in the community. 

We are very excited to be bringing this new class to the weekly schedule where this class will tie into our values of community and collaboration. This class will align the vision we have of opening doors for ambitious dancers to challenge their limits by providing high quality choreography and instruction.

House of Movement Grand Opening!

 

Hello Everyone! 

We here at House of Movement are excited to have started our first week in the community offering classes to dancers as an outlet for you all to train and grow! We have lots of exciting plans for you all coming very soon. In the coming weeks, we will be introducing some new guest instructors for our "Community Class". We will be bringing to this class, choreographers from the east coast dance community to come and share their work with you all. We will also be having our co-hosted workshop with EPIC Motion Dance Company featuring Dea Sevilla (Cookies, Frenemies) & Kevin Nguyen (Frenemies, SGBM) next Saturday 9/21 @ Gibney Dance Center (see below for event page). And finally, we will be having many new promotions for class and giveaways so stay tuned to our Twitter and Facebook pages (@homnyc). We would also like to announce that we are now selling HOM Tees and Tanks - available in both our white and black logos - Just $20 for one and $30 for two! Get 'em while they are still available (Adult Small, Med, Large)!

 

That's a lot to look forward to! All in all, we are very happy to have opened our doors to the community and we would like to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone that has been supporting us along this journey. We hope to share our passion for learning and growth with all of you soon! See you in class!
